Vision
To gather the civil and strategic technology stakeholders of Türkiye and the United States under a single roof, and to act as the catalyst for joint innovation projects and commercial integration with global impact.
TATS 2026
On September 5, 2026, TATS brings the deep tech ecosystems of Türkiye and the United States together at Türkevi in New York to build a lasting bridge between them.
TATS sets out to take technology cooperation and economic exchange between Türkiye and the United States to its highest level, building a lasting bridge between the technology ecosystems of the two countries.
The summit is designed as a strategic hub that pairs the dynamic engineering, manufacturing and R&D capacity of Türkiye with the global capital, market reach and deep tech infrastructure of the United States.
The one-day program is built around keynote addresses, thematic panels, a technology and project exhibition, and a networking reception — putting every link of the ecosystem under one roof on the same day.
Vision & mission
To gather the civil and strategic technology stakeholders of Türkiye and the United States under a single roof, and to act as the catalyst for joint innovation projects and commercial integration with global impact.
To accelerate technology transfer, B2B integration and cooperation by bringing together the engineers, entrepreneurs, academics and investors working on the critical technologies of the future: space, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and advanced engineering.
Agenda
Each heading is meant to open concrete ground for collaboration between the Turkish and American ecosystems.
01
Aerospace is the widest of the summit's headings. Launch and orbital services, satellite systems, advanced materials and manufacturing methods in aviation are approached through one question: where Türkiye's engineering, production and R&D capacity and the US deep tech base can work together.
02
Technologies where the line between civil and strategic use has blurred — autonomous platforms, uncrewed systems, sensing and decision-support architectures — are discussed from both an engineering and a policy angle. The panel attached to this heading traces that evolution with experts from both countries.
03
Artificial intelligence cuts across all four panels. Model development, data infrastructure, applied data science and the spread of AI through industrial and public processes are examined through the lens of the strategic partnerships the two countries can build.
04
Deep tech is long-horizon and capital-intensive. This heading looks at how venture capital, fund management, corporate investment and public support mechanisms reach ventures in the field, and how the depth of US capital and markets can connect with companies coming out of Türkiye.
05
Progress in deep tech is not an engineering question alone: public institutions, regulatory frameworks and diplomacy are part of the process. This heading covers the institutional terrain founders meet when entering the US market, and how the ties between the two countries' technology institutions can be strengthened.
Who attends
Companies working across deep tech and the professionals behind them, academics and university students, investors and fund managers, founders and startups.
Companies operating across deep tech fields and the decision-makers who run them.
Public-sector technology institutions, diplomatic missions and civil society organizations from both countries.
Investors and fund managers who follow the technology finance and investment agenda closely.
Academics, university students and research teams presenting their projects.
Founders, startups and teams showing their prototypes in the exhibition area.
Expected outcomes
Three concrete results are targeted by the end of the day.
Connections formed between the public-sector technology institutions of the United States and Türkiye and technology stakeholders on both sides.
Qualified B2B meetings held between founders and investors from the two countries.
First concrete steps taken on US market entry strategies for deep tech ventures founded in Türkiye.
Supporters
The summit is hosted by the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in New York and Türkevi, with the support of Genç MÜSİAD.
